We miss having a dishwasher. This particular time we had dirtied every bowl and utensil we own... And then finally found a block of time to clean them all!
As
Jon noted on his blog, I began reading a couple pages of the 7th Harry Potter, realized I'd forgotten who characters were, and pulled out the 6th book to review the end.
One week later, after finishing the final Harry Potter (yay!), I read all the websites where J.K. Rowling answered readers' questions - I had a few of my own, which were luckily posted there.
While I was reading, Jon had turned on our A/C unit, and the oscillating fan was pointed directly at me. So I did what anyone would do -
Oh yeah, we also went out to eat (a rare treat!) recently at Souplantation. Jon obviously loves his greens!

Life at the Sampson house certainly is exciting, isn't it?
(I'm amazed how you'd be MORTIFIED if anyone walked in and saw our dishes piled up like that, and yet you're fine posting them on your blog for the world to see!!)
That dish pile was neat and orderly and not covered with food...I have seen worse.
Oh, and about the cold air...we are going to a place where the high temp is 67 lately...please pack warmly! You make me laugh, Grete Dawn, and I love you very much!
Life without a dishwasher is rough. But you know what's even harder? No garbage disposal.
We got the "no garbage disposal" part covered, too! Ah, I love our apartment from the dark ages...
I love the pillow pic! I do the same thing when I'm reading on our couch and I get cold, hehe :-)
